Vernissage of the exhibition “90 Days of You. Gwyneth Ho” by curator saar_voirvivre

This exhibition pays tribute to a profound friendship, resilience, and the pursuit of freedom. The exhibition, featuring 90 artworks by artist saar_voirvivre, is a dedication to her friendship with Gwyneth Ho – A Hong Kong social activist and former reporter who was convicted of subversion in May 2024 after a long detention period in Hong Kong of over a thousand days. Gwyneth Ho worked for several news outlets, including Stand News, BBC Chinese, and government-run broadcaster RTHK and is an alumna of the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Saar_voirvivre is an alumna of the University of Ghent and the University of Amsterdam (UvA). She is currently working as an assistant at the faculty of law of the UGent.

 

On Wednesday 11th of December, curator saar_voirvivre will provide an insight into her work at the vernissage from 19h00 till 20h00. Afterwards, there is a reception with the opportunity to walk through the exhibition.
