Paper presentations

Instructions on the presentations are specific to the thematic streams and will thus be communicated by the conveners of each stream or by the chair of your panel. This information will be shared with you directly per e-mail.

If you have any questions regarding the instructions and requirements for your presentation, please direct them to the conveners of your stream. Their names and email addresses can be found on the page thematic streams.

Poster presentations

Poster Design

We have sent you via email a template power point presentation in format A0, which we would like you to use for the design of your poster. As you will see in this template, you are free to design your poster as you wish. The only element that we find important for you to include in the design of your poster, and which is provided in this template, is the title and colour that corresponds to the thematic stream in which your poster is included. This will allow us to display all the posters of a same thematic stream together at the conference venue. Note that your poster should be designed in portrait mode (not landscape).

Poster delivery and mounting

You are expected to design, print and bring your poster to the conference. All posters must be delivered on December 6th between 12 am and 2 pm at the Ghent International Convention Centre (ICC), Familie van Rysselberghedreef 2, Ghent (in the Citadel Park). Your posters will be received at the first floor. The conference organisers will mount all the posters, arranged by thematic stream, at the foyer, on the second floor.

Poster display and presentation session during the conference

The conference attendees will be able to look at your poster during all the coffee and lunch-breaks and in between activities. On Friday 8/12 during the lunch break, we foresee a specific ‘poster session’ during which poster presenters are expected to stand next to their poster to provide interested delegates with more information.

Poster dismantling

Poster presenters are expected to take their posters with them after the conference closing, on Friday 8/12 at 16h15.
