ATTENTION: There is a national rail strike planned in Belgium from 5 December in the evening until 7 December at 10pm.

The rail strike is not general; there will be a basic service provision. This means that some – but not all – trains will be cancelled during the strike. If you were planning to take the train to come to Belgium or between Brussels Airport and Ghent, be aware that delays are possible.

If you are looking for alternative ways of travel, you can take a look on GetByBus, Omio, Rome2Rio or BlaBlaCar, or taxi services.

The latest information on the strike is available on the website of the national rail services.
