Registration and Opening Ceremony
Conference registration starts on Wednesday 6 December 2023 from 16:30 to 17:30 at the entrance hall of the AULA Complex, Voldersstraat 9, Ghent. The AULA complex is also where the opening ceremony takes place


The AULA Complex and the Faculty Board Room (where some of the welcome activities take place) are indicated on the map below.


Thursday 7 and Friday 8 December 2023

Most conference activities on 7 and 8 December 2023 take place at the Ghent International Convention Centre ICC, Familie van Rysselberghedreef 2, Citadel Park, Ghent.
In the plan of the venue per floor you will be able to locate the rooms where the sessions are scheduled.

Theater play
The theatre play The Nearest Beach is scheduled as the second plenary session on Thursday 7 December 2023 from 19h45 to 21h30. The performance and interview with the directors, dramaturge and actors takes place at the cultural centre De Centrale, in Turbine room, Kraankinderstraat 2, Ghent.

Goodbye event
On Friday 8 December 2023 at 20:00 delegates are welcome to attend with a companion the screening of the documentary De Jongens van Vila Cruzeiro (60’ – English subtitles) as ‘goodbye event’. The screening takes place at Sphinx Cinema, Sint-Michielshelling 3, Ghent.
